Merial South Africa operates with 18 staff and is based in Midrand, Gauteng. The operations of Merial South Africa Pty Ltd are divided into 3 business units: production animal, companion animal and avian, addressing the unique needs of the agricultural community, veterinarians and pet owners.  These businesses are supported by marketing, sales and technical personnel, in addition to the support of the regulatory, finance and customer service teams.

Merial South Africa's  key products include the IVOMEC^® range for sheep, cattle, and swine plus Eqvalan Gold ^® for horses. Operating in a market of 650 vet clinics, 3 million dogs and 2 million cats, Merial companion animal products are distributed through veterinary wholesalers to veterinarians. Merial's contribution to the sector is dominated by sales of  FRONTLINE^® Plus, South Africa's biggest selling  flea and tick product.
